Oddur will perform the role of Conte Almaviva in this production of W.A. Mozart's "Le nozze di Figaro". The show is a collaboration between the Icelandic Opera and the National theather and will be conducted by Bjarni Frímann Bjarnason and directed by John Ramster. The cast features Eyrún Unnarsdóttir (Countess Almaviva), Þóra Einarsdóttir (Susanna), Andri Björn Róbertsson (Figaro), Karin Björg Torbjörnsdóttir (Cherubino), Hanna Dóra Sturludóttir (Marcellina), Davíð Ólafsson (Bartólo), Sveinn Dúa (Basilio), Eyjólfur Eyjólfsson (Don Curzio), Harpa Ósk Björnsdóttir (Barbarina), and Valdimar Hilmarsson (Antonio).

Oddur will be a featured soloist in this performance of Bach's beloved work, along with Sven Hjörleifsson (tenor), Clara Thomsen (sopran0) and Ann-Kristin Jones (mezzo-soprano) The program will comprise of Cantatas 1, 2, 4, 5 & the ending chorus of Cantata 6. The performance will be conducted by Christian von Gehren and will be accompanied by the Jönköpings Sinfonietta. Featured choruses are the Jönköpings Oratoriekör, the Kristine Kammarkör, and the Jönköpings kammarkör.
